The name of the story is Becky and the wheels-&-brake boy by James berry. This story is about this girl who wants a bike but doesn’t get it because of her mom. Becky is a credible character because of how she acts ,how she feels ,and what she says. A reason she is credible is that she begs her mom for what she wants, (a bike). As Becky says, “Over and Over I told my Mom I want a bike.” She really wants a bike more than anything, so she pleads to her mom. This proves that Becky is a realistic character because a lot of kids bug there parents for what they want. Secondly Becky is a believable character because she fought with her friend and got angry with her. “For the first time shernette and me had a real fight because of what I hated the most”. She was mad at her best friend because Shirnette leta cockroach fly down Becky’s blouse. She is credible because friends frequently fight with each other. The third reason why Becky is credible because she asked for some help to learn how to ride a bike.Becky asks the wheels and brake boy,” Can somebody teach me to ride.” Becky doesn’thave a bike because in her neighborhood girls cant ride bikes. Becky is a credible character because she acts like any ordinary kid. In conclusion ,Becky is like a person in my building like an ordinary kid.
